A nun of the Fraternity of Mary Immaculate Mother, she studied piano at the Verdi Conservatory in Milan with Maestro Giovanni Carmassi. At the same time, she attended the University of Pisa, where she graduated with excellent grades in foreign languages and literature, with a musicological thesis on 1600 English opera.
She studied composition with maestro Giuseppe Bruno and began to study the zither under the guidance of cytarist Maguy Gerentet.
Starting from the didactic bases of the latter and combining them with the piano technique, she developed a new method of approaching the zither whose application finds its expressive culmination in the interpretation of pieces intended for the liturgy.
From this innovative method was born a completely original educational typology, which encourages many people to study the instrument. She composed and recorded the collection entitled "Contemplatio" for Edizioni Paoline, the first CD of original music for cittern released in Italy.
She has collaborated with the liturgical office of the CEI, the Catholic University of Milan and the Bose Monastery, participating in important recordings and events as a zitarist.
